1. Webapp URL in Goki Third-Party API
We are thrilled to introduce a new feature that allows 3rd party integrations to access the "WebappUrl" through the API. With this enhancement, our valued partners can now include the "WebappUrl" variable in their emails, providing a seamless and convenient experience for you.
The "WebappUrl" provides a direct link to our web application, where you can access all the functionalities and features available on our platform. By incorporating this link into their communications, our partners can ensure that you have quick and easy access to your reservation details and other important information.
2. Support Can Now Manage Concierge Features
Currently, some properties may not require or utilise certain concierge offerings, which can lead to confusion for guests and increased workload for staff. Our support team can disable extend stay, call, and messages upon your request.
3. Integration of New Clock PMS to Goki
We are excited to announce the successful integration of the new Clock PMS into Goki!
You will now be able to start mapping rooms and getting reservations from Clock PMS. For more information please refer here.
💙 Improvements
1. Room/Bed Names added to our API
We are delighted to announce the addition of room/bed names and IDs to our API. With this enhancement, partners and 3rd parties can now receive room/bed names and IDs by sending new space parameters to our [environmentBaseUrl]/v1/reservations/:id
API.
The inclusion of room/bed names and IDs in our open API ensures that partners can seamlessly integrate with our system and provide you with accurate and detailed information about your reservations. This improvement allows for a smoother communication process and enhances your overall experience with our services.
2. Adding channelNumber to Reservation Mask
To provide you with more comprehensive reservation details, we have added the channelNumber to the reservation mask. As a result, reference numbers will now be filled with the channelNumber value of reservations. This enhancement streamlines the reservation process and allows for better tracking and organisation of your bookings.
3. Completing the List of Countries on the Arrival App
We are pleased to inform you that the list of countries in the guest information data on the Arrival app is now complete. This improvement ensures that all necessary country information is readily available, enabling smoother check-ins and better guest management.
4. Disabling Action Buttons While the Request is in Progress
To prevent any unintentional actions, we have added a 1-minute delay to re-generate actions on the room/common-area pin section while a request is in progress. This update ensures that you have ample time to review your choices and reduces the likelihood of errors.
5. Dashboard Slow Loading Issue Resolved
This optimisation results in faster load times and smoother navigation through the dashboard.
6. Prevent Staff from Deleting Room/Common-Area Option When It Has a Lock
To ensure operational efficiency and avoid complications, staff members are now restricted from deleting a room or common-area option when it has an active lock.
This update prevents locks from remaining disconnected, ensuring a seamless experience for you and your guests.
🚧 Bug Fixes
1. Fix Early Extend-Stay Notification for Split Reservations
We have resolved an issue related to early Extend-Stay notifications for split reservations. From now on, if a split reservation is created in the PMS, guests will no longer receive early Extend-Stay notifications for the first part of the reservation. Instead, they will receive notifications for the last part, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
2. Fix Access Generation Called Multiple Times by the System
This fix ensures that access is generated efficiently and without any redundancies.
3. Fix Generate Pin for Common Areas Using Goki Dashboard
The pin generation issue for common areas has been successfully fixed. Now, generating pins for common areas using the Goki dashboard functions seamlessly, providing you with reliable access to common spaces.
4. Fix Spaces App Couldn't Detect When a Lock is Removed Using the Admin Dashboard
We have resolved the issue where the Spaces app couldn't detect when a lock was removed using the Admin Dashboard. Previously, staff had to log out from the Spaces app and log in again to see the changes. Now, the app detects lock removal in real-time, eliminating the need for manual logouts and logins, and ensuring a more efficient workflow.
5. API Bugs
We have addressed several API-related issues, ensuring smoother and error-free interactions. The following bugs have been fixed on the API side:
