💚 New Features
1. Improve Access Security
We’re happy to share that a new feature has been added to the Staff permissions, called “Security” with 4 new sub-permissions. With these features, you can manage which staff can view the PINs/Admin PINs for the locks, and manage them.
Some things to keep in mind:
1. If staff have "the view admin PIN" permission but NOT the "View PIN permission" in logs, only Admin PIN will be shown, and no other PINs (it can't be edited or changed).
NOTE: If staff have the "manage admin PIN " permission too, the admin PIN can be seen and can be edited via GokiAir or Wi-Fi and the Spaces app.
2. If Staff doesn't have Security permission in logs we don't show the PINs and the PIN tab is unavailable, the Admin PIN will also be unavailable in the settings.
3. If Staff have just the "view admin PIN" permission, they can't change the admin PIN.
4. If staff have only "view PIN " permission, in logs we only show reservations and other PINs but not the admin PIN. They won’t be able to regenerate or disable/remove PIN.
5. If staff have "manage PIN permission”, the "view PIN permission" will be ticked too and they can regenerate and disable/remove PIN.
6. If staff unlocks the lock with Bluetooth or remotely we will show the staff’s name in the logs.
7. If guests unlock the main room and the common area via reservation PIN, or unlock them with SmartKey, the logs will show their names.
8. In the Spaces app, the preferences>Admin PIN is unavailable in the settings if the staff doesn't have security permission or view admin PIN permission.
💙 Improvements
1. Prevent Sending Email To Cancel/Checked-out Reservations
Previously, the emails would still be sent to the guests even if their reservations were Canceled or Checked-out, with this new improvement, the reservation emails will not be sent to guests with the previously mentioned status.
🚧 Bug Fixes
1. Profile Picture Bug
When the guest didn’t have their profile picture set in the Goki App, when you clicked on the avatar or the name of the guest in the search section, it would take a long time to load the profile page or would not load at all. This bug has been fixed and the issue should not persist anymore.
2. PIN SMS Doesn't Include The Common Area PINs
Common Area PINs were not showing up in the SMS, and instead, it was written as [object], the fix has been made for this issue and the SMS should properly show Common Area PINs now.
3. Fix on Information Pushed From PMS
When the guests’ email started with capital letters, and they checked in via the Arrival App, the information filled in during the process would not get pushed to the PMS, with the new fix the issue will no longer be the case and will not interfere with the transfer of the check-in details.
