How to Add Common Areas to Rooms

In this article, you will learn how to Add Common Areas to Rooms on the Dashboard.


To allow guests' access to Common Areas, you should add them from the Spaces App in the "Common Area" page with connected locks. Then you are able to add them to each room from the Dashboard.


  • Open the "Rooms" page from the left bar menu.
  • Select the room you want to add a Common Area to and open the room page.

  • Click the "Common Area" title and you will be able to see the list of common areas for your property.

  • Select the tick box next to the Common Area you want to add for that room.




If you do not have the correct Common Areas set up your Guests will not be able to use their E-key to pass through those Access Panels.
