How to Change User Types on Your Property Dashboard

In this article, you will learn how to Change User Types from your Property Dashboard.

There are three User Types on the Property Dashboard, each group holds different permissions:

  1. Owner.
  2. Admin.
  3. Staff. 

Owner Changing User Types

As the owner of your property, you can change other user types between Admin and Staff. You can also give the Owner status to another user.

Changing Staff Into Admin 

 

1. On your property's Dashboard left bar menu select "Teams". 

2. Scroll down to individual staff members, and select the staff profile.

3. At the top right select the 3 dots, scroll down, and select "Set as Admin".

Note:

  • ADMIN status gives the user full access. This includes the ability to change other user members' status between STAFF and ADMIN.
  • Only the Owner is able to grant OWNER access to another user. 

Changing Admin to Staff

 

1. On your property's Dashboard left bar menu select "Teams".

2. Scroll down to individual staff members and select the staff profile.

3. At the top right select the 3 dots, scroll down, and select "Set as Staff".

Caution:

  • Changing user status from ADMIN to STAFF will include losing full access.
  • The Permissions can be reinstated manually via Group Permissions.
