Shared PIN for Common Area

In this article, you will learn how to create 4-digit PIN, make it shared, and your guests will receive it in the check-in email & in the app

Share Pin Using Spaces app

      

When you create a 4-digit PIN you have the option to share it. Shared PINs will be sent with the check-in email & be available in the Goki app. Follow those steps

  • Open 'Common Areas' in Spaces app.
  • Choose the common area you want to set the default PIN and open the 'PINs' page.
  • Click the '+' button.
  • Click '4 digit' pin title
  • Type the name of the common door, this will be the title in the email & app.
  • Select the '4 digit PIN'
  • Choose the dates, set the pin and enable the 'Share at check-in' toggle.
  • Click 'Next' button
       

Tip:

You can only set 1 shared PIN per Common Area door.

Share One From Created PINs

         

If you have created different 4-digit PINs, you are able to share one of them and send it to the travelers. Follow those steps:

  • Open 'Common Areas' page in Spaces app.
  • Choose the common area you want to set the default PIN and open the 'PINs' page.
  • Open the 3 dot menu of the PIN.
  • Click the 'Share on check-in' button and confirm.

Note: You are able to share 4-digit PINs only, not random PINs.
