In this article, you will learn how to use and send Shout-outs to communicate with your guests.
Shout-outs via Notification

Guests with the Goki app installed will receive Shout-outs as notifications (read note).

Guests without the Goki app installed will receive Shout-outs as an email. This way, ALL guests will receive the message, even if they are not using their phone as their E-key.
Tip:
With Shout-outs, properties can communicate with their guests in one go. It's a great way to let guests know what's on, market an event or activities.
Note:
As of January 2021 you can use the Autopilot feature to specify whether your Shoutout is sent by Email, Notification or Mailchimp e-mail.
How to Send Shout-outs

Log-in to the Property Dashboard and select "Shout-Out" from the left bar menu.

Select "Shout-out" to open the page, "Share with" and complete a "Message" and then select "Shout-out". When the message is delivered you will see "Shout-Out sent successfully!"
How to Target Your Shout-outs With Filter
You can filter Shout-outs by gender, check-in time & country. This helps you to target your Shout-outs to increase the rate of engagement.
For example, sending a welcome offer to a German guest (in German!) who just checked-in will get more traction than a Shout-out in English.
How to Target Your Shout-outs With History
We also show a history of the Shout-outs that have been sent so that you can see the effects of your marketing efforts. You are able to see all notifications by selecting "Show More".
