When you receive your Goki SmartLock Pro, the hardware is generally de-charged for air freight requirements to around 30%. You will need to recharge the batteries to make sure the SmartLock Pro is performing well.
Below, we explain how you can access the battery from inside the door, remove the battery, and replace the empty battery module with a fully charged one.
Note
The batteries can be recharged via a USB-C cable (please note: this is not included)
Red Light: Indicates that the battery is low

1. Unscrew the Privacy Switch above the Handle.
2. Use the Battery Removal Tool to Remove the Magnetic Back Panel.
3. Unscrew the Battery Case.
4. Remove the Battery and replace it with the fully charged module.
Note
The USB-C emergency jump start next to the metal key cylinder should not be used to recharge the battery. This will only be used if you have misplaced your metal key and the battery has run flat. By using a power bank with a compatible USB-C cable, you can jumpstart the SmartLock Pro and gain access to the room.
