After successfully installing the SmartLock Pro by following the instructions described here, it is time to connect it to the Spaces App.
Before you start:
Make sure Bluetooth and location are enabled.
Be close to the SmartLock so you can touch the screen to activate the lock.
Note
Connecting to WIFI is not Mandatory while Connecting the lock via Spaces; if you do not have WIFI, you can add it from Room's settings:
Spaces App > Access, room with a Lock > 3 dot section > WiFi > Network > Connect to your WiFi
SmartLock Pro Wi-Fi Requirements - Before you connect your SmartLock Pro to the Wi-Fi, please check the Wi-Fi requirements and make sure they're all met.
Connecting SmartLock Air to the room
Goki supports the new SmartLock Air model (SLP without WiFi). Staff can now install and manage this model using the Spaces app.
Unique icons and visuals differentiate the SmartLock Air from standard SLP models;
No WiFi credentials requested during setup;
Supports a large volume of passcodes (estimated up to 2000);
Updated images and behaviour in all relevant app sections, including Add Device, Installation, Help, and Diagnostics.
Connection steps
Open Spaces App
Press the + button or access the Spaces App settings for connecting new Hardware
Choose SmartLock Air for connection
Press on the available SmartLock Pro Air
Congrats, SmartLock Air is connected.
Notes:
Make sure you have Bluetooth and location on
Visually, it looks the same as SmartLock Pro.
In the Spaces app, you can see the label "Air" for SmartLock Air devices.
