Smart Lock Pro - Replacing The Clutch

If the SmartLock Pro's handle is broken, it could be due to a broken clutch.


Note:

The clutch is very durable and made of zinc alloy so it's likely that unusual force while opening the door may have broken the handle.

The only way this can be fixed is by replacing the clutch.


Please follow the steps below:

  1. Unscrew the backplate on the front of the lock and take a look at the clutch.

  2. Use a star screw screwdriver to unscrew the clutch.

  3. Remove the broken Clutch.

  4. Replace it with a new one.

5. Reassemble it and check if the handle is working as expected.
