1. Invite your Team Members
Go to Teams
In the search bar, enter your team member's email address
Click the “Add” button

2. User Types
In Goki, there are 3 types of users (owner, admin, staff) with reflect different permission levels as explained below.
Owner: When you create a new property, you become the owner of that property by default. Each property can only have one owner and they can not be deleted.
However, this ownership can be transferred to other users once they are added to your property. If you transfer the ownership, you cannot take it back unless the other user transfers it to you.Admin: Each property can have multiple admins. Admins have all the permissions in the system and you cannot limit their access.
Staff: The staff has no permission by default, you need to manually assign permissions or use permission groups to let them access different sections in the Goki Dashboard and Spaces app.
2.1 Change a User Type
If you wish to change the user type, please follow the next steps:
Go to Teams > Select the user
On the top right, click on the 3-dots icon
Select the role you want to change (based on the user's existing role)
Note: This feature is only available for owners and admins. Admins can not change their role to Owner.
3. User Permissions
Permissions are a great way to manage what each team member can see and do on Goki Dashboard and Spaces app and there are 3 options to set them up:
When you are inviting them as explained above.
After they are invited by selecting the team member and tick/untick the boxes on the right side.
Use Permission Groups (Select the team member>tab “Groups” and assign a group to the user).
More details about permissions can be found here.
4. Group Permissions
If you have many team members you may want to take advantage of Groups (Permission Groups) instead of assigning the permissions individually.
In order to do this, please:
Go to Menu > Teams> tab Groups
Type the name of the group in the search bar
Press the Create button
On the right-hand side, navigate to the tab “Permissions” and select the ones you want
Switch to the tab “Members” > search for the team members that you would like to add and click “Add”
Notes:
The "Members" section will not be enabled unless there is at least one permission set on the newly created group.
You can assign groups via the member's detail page or add members from the group's detail page.
5. Assign Time Shifts
You can limit your staff access to Goki Dashboard and Spaces App during certain hours/days by customising time shifts for each member separately.
Go to Teams> Select the team member
Click on the tab “Time shifts” and select the dates/times.
