Same Room PIN on Common Area - Via GokiAir

With GokiAirs, the guests can use their reservation PIN on any common areas too.

Updated over a year ago

When a Goki Device has access to the GokiAir, Goki tries to generate a shorter (4digit) reservation PIN, which guests can use on Common Area too to make their stay more comfortable and easy.

Requirements:

  1. Make Sure Guest room and Common Area room locks are connected to the GokiAir

  2. Make sure the GokiAir is on.

  3. Those autopilots need to be enabled:

    1. When a Reservation is Checked in β†’ Generate access - Learn More

    2. When Access is, Generated β†’ Send email "PIN generated" - Learn More

    3. When Access is Changed β†’ Send "Access Changed" email - Learn More

Notes

  • Short PINs are unique per owner (traveler or staff) in the whole property.

  • Goki can set the same room PIN in the common areas.

    • If no GokiAirs were available for a common area, the previous default common area PIN would be used. (it must be shared)

  • By reservation cancellation, the shared PIN should be removed from the room and common area locks.

  • Consider that Goki locks can save up to 150 custom PINs for the Smart locks and more than 1000 for the SLP.
