Reservation Drawer - Manage Reservations

In this article you will learn how to manage reservations.

You can view a guest's past reservations, basic information, and detailed changelogs for their current active reservation via the reservation drawers. There are several ways to access reservation drawers on the Goki dashboard and we will see them in the next sections.

1. Reservation Drawer on Reservations Menu

  • On the slide menu, select 'Reservations.'

  • Find the reservation you want to know more about.

  • Click the chain icon next to the confirmation code on the list, or click the 3dot icon on the reservation details page and then click View Reservation.

  • Ta-da! Here's the reservation drawer!

2. Reservation Drawer via Search

  • On the slide menu, select 'Search.'

  • Search for a reservation using a confirmation code, traveler name, or email address.

  • Under 'Reservations" click on the confirmation code of the reservation, you are looking for.

  • You just found the reservation drawer!

Notes:

  • Changelogs are updated live in real-time.

  • If the reservation is created on the PMS, you can click on the 3dot icon to get the latest updates by hovering on the search card/Pull From PMS, Although Goki tries to do it automatically.


Protips

  • Changelog on reservation drawers is the best way of tracking down the automated emails, to see if they've been sent.

  • Wherever you see the chain icon on the Gboard, it'll direct you to the reservation drawer of the corresponding reservation!


Functionalities

  • Resend the PIN email in case there was some delay in receiving it or you want to send that reservation's PIN to a different email. The reservation has to have a PIN generated.

  • Regenerate PIN manually in the case the PIN does not work or it wasn't generated by Goki automatically.

  • Regenerate SmartKey for the guest to be able to open the door via Goki App in case there is a problem with the lock and doesn't show up or it wasn't generated automatically.

  • Freeze SmartKey for the guests to limit their access to the room by using the Goki App.

  • Check-in info to see check-in information in case guests use the Check-in App or touchless check-in. All info about guests will be listed there which you have already customized for the self-check-in process. More information.

For all of these previous actions except the Check-in info, the door assigned to the reservation has to have a Goki lock.​

  • When you manually regenerate the 4-digit PIN in case the PIN doesn't work, the system always tries generating the same 4-digit PIN for the room and for common areas.
