Now you can use your Counter property management system with Goki to automate some of your processes.


Note:

  • This feature is only available to the trial and approved accounts.

  • On the trial account, only the guests whose emails are added in white-listed will get the Goki emails.

Connect Counter to Goki

  • Go to Settings > Marketplace

  • Click on the Enable button on the Counter card.

  • Copy the Access Token from Goki to Counter (you need to be logged in to Counter)

  • Paste the token to the Counter system and press the Add button.

1. Room mapping

For Goki to understand which reservation belongs to which room, you need to map your Goki rooms/beds to Counter rooms/beds.

You have an option to do it manually or automatically, based on your installation process.

2. Automatic Key generation

Whenever Counter sends up a reservation update that indicates the reservation is checked in, we generate a SmartKey as long as there is a SmartLock on the room.

  • Make sure Counter and Goki are connected.

  • Make sure your rooms & beds are mapped between Goki and Counter.

  • Now for every reservation created or updated in Counter, you will get a reservation on Goki

  • When you check the travelers in Counter, on Gboard you will see a PIN for the reservation (if you have a SmartLock installed on the room otherwise you just see a green tick showing the user is checked in).


Counter Integration Limitation:

The counter only sends updates to Goki on these events: creating a new reservation, changes on from/to dates, status, owing amount, master booker details, and room.


3. Goki Check-in

You can also use Goki Check-in to automate the check-in process and SmartKey/PIN generation. More here.


Counter Integration Limitation:

Goki Check-in will stop travelers if they have any owing by default. You can change this behavior by disabling the "PMS Owing Checking" option from Settings > Marketplace > Goki Check-in (this option can still fail if Countercannot checks the traveler in due to any other limitations).


Notes:

We are passing the guests' information to the Counter, but currently, they are not storing it.

The counter does not block the check-in process if the room is dirty.
