GuestPoint + Goki

Automate key generation, check-in, and more with GuestPoint + Goki integration.

Updated over a year ago

Now you can use the GuestPoint property management system with Goki to automate your working processes.

Note

This feature is only available to the trial and approved accounts.

Trial Account limitations

  • Only the guests whose emails are added in white-listed will get the Goki emails.

Supported Features

  1. Room Mapping.

  2. Automate Key Generation.

  3. Goki Check-in.

Connect Guest Point to Goki

  • Go to Settings → Marketplace → All apps

  • Click on the Connect button on the GuestPoint card.

  • Contact the GuestPoint to add Access Token from Goki to GuestPoint.

  • After adding Access Token, endpoints for Spaces, Check-in and... should be registered. The APIs and documentation are already provided by us.

1. Room Mapping

For Goki to understand which reservation belongs to which room, you need to map your Goki rooms/beds to GuestPoints rooms/beds.

You will have to do it manually and you can learn how to map rooms & beds here.

2. Automatic Key Generation

Whenever GuestPoint sends a reservation update that indicates the reservation is checked in, we generate a SmartKey as long as there is a SmartLock on the room.

  • Make sure GuestPoint and Goki are connected.

  • Make sure your rooms & beds are mapped between Goki and GuestPoint.

  • Now for every reservation created or updated in GuestPoint, you will get a reservation on Goki if the related automation is on

    • When Reservation's date is changed, Send the email "date changed"

    • When Reservation is assigned, Send email "reservation detected" and Send notification "reservation detected"

  • Turn the autopilot related to generate access on

    • When a Reservation is Checked in → Generate access - Learn More

    • When Access is Generated → Send email "PIN generated" - Learn More

  • When you check the travelers in GuestPoint, on Gboard you will see a PIN for the reservation (if you have a SmartLock installed on the room and if the related automation is on, otherwise you just see a green tick showing the user is checked in)

GuestPoint Integration Notes

  • Any changes made from GuestPoint about reservation status, booker information (email, name, room) will be updated in Goki.

  • If you update Reservation State manually from the Gboard it won't be updated in GuestPoints!

  • Travelers' information updated during the Self Check-in process won't be updated in GuestPoint. Only reservation State will be changed!

  • We don't have a Pull from the PMS button on the reservation card to push information from GuestPoint.

  • Delay for reservation updates may vary between 1 to 5 minutes.

3. Goki Check-in

It will automate the check-in process and SmartKey/PIN generation and the status of the reservation will be sent to your PMS. You can learn about Goki check-in here.

Note

To use Goki check-in system, you need to register Check-in API in Goki. Once you add Access Token to your system you should provide Check-in API info which will be used to call Check-in API during Goki Check-in.

GuestPoint Integration Limitations

  • If the reservation does not have an email in GuestPoint, Goki won't detect it.

  • Goki Check-in will stop travelers if they have any owing by default. Even if you try to change this behavior by disabling the "PMS Owing Checking" toggle from Settings → Marketplace → Goki Check-in GuestPoint doesn't allow check-in if the reservation has owing.

  • Goki Check-in will stop travelers if the room assigned to this reservation is not ready. Even if you try to change this behavior by disabling the "PMS Room Status Checking" toggle on Settings → Marketplace → Goki Check-in GuestPoint doesn't check in travelers if the room is not clean.

  • Guest's Mobile Number from GuestPoint will not be transferred to GOKI

  • OTA booking confirmation numbers from GuestPoint will not be transferred to Goki
