STEP 1: Software Set-Up
1. Sign up for the Goki Dashboard.
For more details on how to sign up to the Goki Dashboard, sign in, and recover your password, click here.
2. Check in with Goki Support to make sure your account is in "Trial" mode.
You can contact Goki Support via live chat on the Goki Dashboard or via email at support@goki.travel.
Some Goki behaviors might be different based on your Account Type.
3. Connect your Goki Dashboard to PMS (optional)
If you prefer, you can use Goki mini PMS for testing purposes.
Otherwise, select your PMS provider below and follow the steps to connect it via Goki marketplace:

4. Create rooms/ beds and map them to Goki.

STEP 2: Hardware Set-Up

Please Note
All batteries have been de-charged to below 30% to meet air freight requirements during the delivery. Please make sure to charge them fully before starting to set them up as the low battery read might cause connection issues. If you are just testing a sample Smartlock Pro and don't have a charger, the battery charge will be sufficient for testing purposes.
2. GokiAir - How to set up a GokiAir (if applicable).

Note: Make sure you have Bluetooth and Location enabled while connecting.
Note: G2 GokiAir - you should disconnect and reconnect the power and it will be ready for setup for a minute.
Step 1: Connect GokiAir
Open the Spaces app choose GokiAir from the Settings Menu and click the “+” button or tap on Add Devices from the menu.
Turn the GokiAir power on.
Select your GokiAir device from the list & type a name for it.
Connect the GokiAir to WIFI (Choose WIFI from the list or add it manually if it is not listed).
Your GokiAir is Ready!
Step 2: Connect SmartLock to GokiAir
Once the GokiAir is connected and ready it will detect nearby Smart Locks in a minute automatically.
Note: Connected SmartLocks show Online status and they will be listed once you click on the GokiAir name.
3. Download the ‘Goki Spaces’ mobile app to connect your smart SmartLock Pros.
Please note: Use the same login info for Spaces as your Goki Dashboard credentials.
4. Connect SmartLock Pro to a Room using Spaces App.
STEP 3: Test Spin
1. Add your test emails to the "Whitelist"
Add your test emails to Settings > Emails Whitelist for test reservations - otherwise, you will not receive any reservation emails. You can have 10 test emails in your "Whitelist"
3. Create a reservation
You can create a test reservation using Goki to go through the guest journey.
Please note: If you have connected your PMS and created a reservation within the PMS, this entire process will be automated.
Email - The email you use to make this reservation is what you will use in Goki App to find your booking.
Room - Pick the room number for your reservation in line with the SmartLock that you have connected.
Dates - Pick yesterday as the start date and then make the reservation for a few days to get the full experience.
State - Change the state to 'Checked-in' to receive the email with your unique PIN and SmartKey.
4. Open the Goki Device
Once checked in, the email you used in the reservation will receive the Goki Check-in email with the unique PIN and the option to download the Goki App/ 'Get your Keys via the WebApp.
You can then open the Goki Device with a PIN or Smartkey from the Goki App to test its functionality. (Please note: The GokiDevice does not need to be installed on the door for this).
Within the Goki App, you can find the booking by searching your confirmation number and you will be able to open your room by using the Smartkey.
Please note
The PIN and Smartkey will be active only after the reservation is checked in and property check-in time has passed, but you can use Goki Early check-in. With this feature, you can let the guest access the room even before check-in time. This is set by the Property via:
Goki Dashboard > Basic information > Danger Zone > Turn on "Early check-in toggle
Warning
If you enter the incorrect PIN by mistake more than 4 times, a little alarm sound will be on, and the disc screen will freeze for about 4 minutes - once that has passed, you will be able to insert the PIN again.
The idea is to have fun! Pretend to be a guest - understand the guest's journey, create reservations for other staff members, and play around with the system.
